Deposits are Required as follows,
Outright Charter. Usually £200. Balance of payment once the trip has been given the "Weather go-ahead"
Alderney Transportation. 50% of travel cost. Balance of payment once the passage has been given the "Weather go-ahead"

Deposits/advance payments will be returned as follows,
1. Anglers and passengers should not attempt to join any trip on TRUE BLUE if they suspect or have any concerns that they may be experiencing symptoms that may be due to the Corona Virus.
2. Anglers and passengers that are unable to attend a previously booked trip due to GENUINE Corona Virus concerns, will not be expected to pay for their place and any advance payment will be refunded in full.
3. If the amount of anglers and passengers cancelling trips result in a trip becoming financially unviable, the operator reserves the right to cancel the trip outright.
4. Where anglers are unable to attend planned trips to Alderney, should The States of Alderney continue to allow them, it may not be possible to fully remove all financially liability to the angler. This is due to advanced financial commitments by the operator to third parties on behalf of the angler. The operator does however undertake to recover all costs on behalf of the angler where possible.
No claim against the operator will be accepted in the event of his illness, vessel break down of any event beyond his control, including any “Fish Species Bans” in operation at the time.
For fishing trips, the skipper reserves the right to decide on the type of trip or target species on a particular day. This will take into account weather conditions, which might be unsuitable for some types of specialist fishing. All fishing bookings are accepted on the basis that they are for a standard inshore trip at the inshore rate, but with the aim of completing the trip as planned when conditions/circumstances allow. The increased specialised charter rate will then apply.

The pickup point for the boat is at Fishermen’s Steps, opposite the Thistle Hotel at the eastern end of Poole Quay. For Satnavs the postcode is BH15 1HD.
The Tackle and Bait hut of Sea Fishing Poole, situated next to the pick-up point is always open for any boat departure. You can contact them to order bait etc using the following details, Tel: 07891 669489. Email, seafishingpoole@hotmail.com
All day parking is available in a car park behind the Thistle Hotel. Payment is by credit/debit card. Please ensure you pay for enough time to complete your fishing trip. Other car parking is available towards the western end of the Quay. On Sundays, some street car parking spaces are available at the western end of Poole Quay FOC. There are also spaces available locally in ground controlled by The Poole & District Fishermen's Association. Book through Sea Fishing Poole.
Cups of tea and coffee may be provided on the boat when it is safe to do so, at no extra cost, but passengers should not rely solely on this for their liquid refreshment. A microwave on the boat is available for the warming of pies, pasties and ready meals etc.
Please bring or wear suitable clothing. It can get very cold on a boat, even in the summer. The Maritime and Coast guard Agency states that all the persons on board shall have protective clothing appropriate to the prevailing air and sea temperatures. Footwear should be waterproof and have non slip soles.
Keep an eye on the weather during the days leading up to your trip. Please phone the skipper if you have any concerns that it may be unsuitable. The skipper will contact you on the day before as soon as a weather decision has been made to confirm that the trip is on.

- DAILY CHARTERS and INDIVIDUAL TRIPS. Refunded in full when the skipper as a result of bad weather or vessel breakdown cancels the trip.
- DAILY CHARTERS. Refunded in full when the customer cancels the charter for whatever reason, providing at least two calendar months notice, or the customer cancels the charter within two calendar months of the trip, and the boat is able to secure another booking. Please note that a short notice cancelation of less than two calendar months, which results in the boat not being employed, may render the customer liable for 70% (seventy percent) of the full charter fee.
- DAILY INDIVIDUAL FISHING TRIPS. Deposits and advance payments are non refundable unless anglers who wish to cancel their trips are able to find a replacement person to take their place. Where a deposit has not been paid, anglers who cancel their bookings within two calendar months of the trip will be liable for the full cost of their booked places.
- CHANNEL ISLAND FISHING TRIPS. Deposits made for trips to the channel islands are non refundable in the event of angler cancellation. They may also be non refundable in the event of a weather cancelled trip subject to the discretion of accommodation landlord and landladies, When an angler cancels his/her place and a replacement cannot be found, they will be liable for the full amount.
